Kelsey Grammer, best known for his role as Dr. Frasier Crane, has moved up and out of the home he previously shared with ex-wife, and Beverly Hills Housewives star, Camille Grammer. But don’t feel sad for this star for the breakup of his (3rd) marriage and temporary displacement, because he made a hefty $8.94 million dollar profit off the sale of his Malibu home. He has also since remarried and had an adorable daughter, Faith, so things are looking good for Frasier!
The home, built in 1949, was bought by Grammer in 1998 for a meagre $4 million and since sold this past November for $12.94 million – talk about a good investment! The 6,645 square foot home is located on almost 5 acres in Malibu California and features amazing natural wonders like towering trees, beautiful gardens and an 18th century stone temple perched right on the side of a Monet lily pond. Throughout the rest of the perfectly manicured yard are 18th and 19th century fountains, benches and fireplaces as well as a lighted tennis court and a massive pool with views of the ocean.
The interior of the home lives up to the wonders of the outside with a full library, stunning dining room, home theatre with 12 seats and, of course, a full guest house. The guest house itself includes a massive kitchen, living room, a couple cosy bedrooms and a five-car garage. Did we mention the kitchen was designed by Wolfgang Puck as well? It’s no wonder they made such a pretty penny off the sale of this stunner of a home.
Kelsey isn’t new to having multiple homes and transactions at one time. He recently also unloaded his $18 million mansion in Holmby Hills as well as his Beaver Creek vacation home for a minor $6.6 million. Well done Kelsey, well done!
